Well I think we know what they will do, Cong. Conaway says at 13:25 mins in, "who determines what the definition of "Organic" is, and would you say that 100 years from now GMO will be considered "Organic." I see them changing the definition of "Organic" to include GMO, how can they do that since it is sprayed with "Round Up Ready" I don't know but they hold the cards. Until that point I will only eat "Organic" "Raw Milk" and "Grass Fed Beef"

It was good that after his role in making biotech what it is today, Vilsack went to bat for all agriculture. He reminds the committee that he can't make a decision during the public comment period because they're supposed to take us into account. He reminds them that the financial impact is not just on GMO but Organic and non-GMO farmers too. He talks about property rights and preserving non-GMO seed lines. Satisfied they usurped the USDA, a Rep suggests they twist the Organic standards next.
