I'm Scottish, I have a Scottish accent and I live in Scotland, believe me when I tell you his name doesn't sound like Creg in Scotland and never has, and I seriously doubt he see's Creg as the proper pronunciation of his name, accent or not, Scottish people can pronounce his name the correct way.

@drewmc74 actually, he hates it being prnounced "craig" his name sounds like "creg" in scotland, with the accent. He sees that as the proper way, with an American accent it sounds funny to him (although I'd assume he's used to it now)
