I'd find it a little odd NOT remembering your own lyrics if you were any other band but REM. Have you ever read some of their lyrics? Fantastically strange! If I were Stipe, I'd have to take a peek at my lyrics before every verse.

some people have a natural talent for it - i can allways rember the words to song having only heard it once or twice and i know the words to practicaly everysong going, however i cannot rember what i had for tea last night and when people ask, its allways a strain to rember what date i was born! It's quite odd.
