Little tip : when the screen is really badly cracked, put tape over it to lift it with the succion cup.

U might jst go with gorilla glass because apple uses a glass that cracks on low impact so they get more money

Good Advice: Make sure that you spend the money to have the proper type, and size screwdrivers, otherwise you will strip the screws. Also, watch that you don't get finger prints or hair between the lcd and glass, work in a clean environment.

If your touch screen doesn't work after installation, make sure that the #2 ribbon is clicked all the way in. In general, if you have a problem it will be that one of the three ribbons isn't firmly seated.

One thing that was not mentioned and is important so that you don't damage it is the 3rd or bottom ribbon has a flip up tab that locks the ribbon in place. The tab should be flipped up to remove ribbon, and pressed down to secure it

@yonyunior You pull the screen out and then pull it out from under the latch. We got stuck too but we realised how to fix it.

Hey guys little tip some times when hook everything back up you might get a white screen simple solution is to just hold down the sleep button and home button for 10 seconds then everything will go back to normal
