Oh man I gotta start planning. I have a whole bunch of ideas for this one, though. So, feelin' good. (also I think they call it NaNoPlanMo on the on the official site)

Plan as much as you can before the novel writing month starts so that you have an idea to fall onto if you get frustrated with the word count or something.

Aw, your thumbnail isn't so scary. It *doesn't* do you justice (as someone mentioned), but I've seen *much* worse. Recently. :>) As for the planning, I agree; it's definitely the best way to go. OTOH, I'm jumping into NaNo 2010 with no ideas or planning at all. Instead, I've let a random generator pick my basic story idea, my protagonist, AND my antagonist... all on Day 1. Don't know if this plan's going to work out so well, but should be fun. Or painful. One of those two. :>) Anyway, good luck!

I planned out the first chunk to get the story started, but from there I'm going to wing it with mainly random attacks from monsters spicing it up.

Why hello there.. thank you for the informative vid!

i really like your points on being responsible to yourself and that you are only letting yourself down if you cheat. i think it would be a great personal achievement.

im a nano first timer this year so im pretty psyched! :D
