Fruit in beer is not always a good thing, but if done correctly, there might be magic in a bottle. Founders Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan has created a tremendous cherry ale they call Cerise, and it is special indeed! made with locally grown sour cherries, Cerise is mellow off the nose, but solid on the pallet. It's easy to drink with a relatively low ABV of 6.5%. Unfortunately it's a seasonal, so look for it around March in a store near you!! Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • I've been really impressed with the Founder's Brewery.

  • @AgileHProductions This was my first experience with a Founders beer and it was excellent! Can't wait to try more!!!

  • "...with a relatively low ABV of 6.5%." Wow, times are changin'! I'm proud to be from and in Michigan, although near Detroit on the other side of the state from Founders, Bells, New Holland, Shorts, etc. There are A LOT of great beers being brewed in this state, in spite of the economy I might add. David, I feel the same way about New Holland's "Dragon's Milk" - liquid lovin'!

  • @andrewt248 LOVE Bells, just wish I could get it here in Texas!!
