He has a genetic form of epilepsy called Dravet syndrome...Its a lifetime epilepsy

He tries to walk and stand after the seizure. A lot of times he walks in circles and then gets back in bed. He has fallen out of bed.

After ones like this yes. He sometimes wants to get up and walk around and then he ends up going back to sleep. He also has small ones where they wake him up and he is ready to go for the day!

My son also suffers from this type of seizure as well as drop seizures. It brakes my heart every time he has an episode. Hope that some day he will grow out of it but I think is going to be part of him for the rest of his life. Also to make it worst he autistic.

@13beautifuleyes Depends the circumstances. In our case we call 911 when the seizure last more than 5 mins., Ryans case his seizure don't last more than 1 min. But yes normally you would call 911 especially when seizures are not the norm.

i know is rough to suffer with these problem with epilepsy im physically handicapped with a condition call c.p i thave muscles spasiums everyday in my life im almost 41yrs old i have a difficulty when balanceing when walking my love goes out to the familes with young children with babies specisially when they dont know anything at the tie they are born.

@ericpker Epilepsy isnt caused by Vaccinations! dont be ignorant! there is no cause of epilepsythat is 100% confirmed, so before you make such an ignorant comment, i suggest you get oyur facts straight! My mother has epilepsy and has lived with it for over 40 years, her's is caused by brain scaring. Other forms of epilepsy are in fact CAUSED by the very same diseases Vaccinations are for, like Menengitis.
