Jack Kingston tries to spin Jim Parker's story by saying he did get health care. Jim says "But I'm bankrupt!"
Kingston proceeds to claim that in other countries Jim would have had to wait in line, and lots of people come fromm Canada to the U.S. for treatment; both assertions not really true in general, and ignoring the main point: insurers count paying out for health care as medical loss that they have to limit to keep their stock price up and their salaries high. Around 300,000 people go bankrupt in the U.S. annually due to health care costs. In every other developed country, the number is pretty close to zero.
Jim is speaking at Jack Kingston's (R GA-01) Health Care Town Hall in Valdosta in August 2009.

I think I'd rather wait in line than be bankrupt for the rest of my life.

Another worthless republican douche nozzle who continues to be voted in because his constituents are too ill-educated to realize they're voting against their own best interests. He is another conservative piece of shit.

Our society has been so dumbed-down, they think this a-hole makes sense. Senior citizens-shame on you for allowing this to happen to you! Next up, the rest of the U.S.

How can elected American officials be so dumb?
They realize that the Canadians and Brits are striking back at their healthcare systems being attacked.
