Thank you for posting this song. It was my late mother and fathers song from the 1945 version by Vaugn Monroe but they enjoyed this version too...happened on it by accident and sparked wonderful memories of my Parents. Thanks again
One of the great romantic recordings of all time. Every young guy in the early '60's who had a crush on some pretty young thing could appreciate this song. I've heard Monroe's version...seemed too heavy-handed on the deep baritone side compared to Bobby's soaring, melodic rendition. Bobby got it just right. Now wonder it was such a huge hit!
Oakmont, I, too, loved this song.....it was indeed great; however, it was released in late 1963 and was a number one hit in early 1964.................just for the record!
Thank you for your warm wishes. I am Lynn the wife. I am so blessed to have Hal as my husband and the father of our children. Oh how we love this man. Blessings . :)
