@Roelandtstorme It's typical of the fascists that prevail today calling themselves "Liberals" or "registered Republican Liberal interlocutors" (and adhering to the creed's arbitrary and hateful dogmas) that the frankly Chinese idiocy of Youtube's voting system is used to smoke a perfectly reasonable comment (one that is free from the pervasive self-declared Liberals' infantile use of the cunt-bomb, threats of violence or claim that stunning Ann is a man) almost out of existence.

Far too much has been made of Ann's error in suggesting that Canada sent combat troops to support the US in the Vietnam war. In light of her bigger point, she was only off by one war. Bob McKeown made far too much of this minor discrepancy and then lied about it later. Ann apologized and corrected her statement, even though this was hardly necessary under the circumstances. If you want to go after Ann making incalculably stupid statements, look into her nutty critiques of Evolutionary science.
-
Further, it was Ann that wouldn't give up the point. Not Bob, she could have simply said, "hmm, I didn't know that" changed her example, and moved on. The reason people point this example out is because Ann quite honestly, is one of those know it all, no nothing cunt types. While there is much she does know, being human there IS FAR MORE that she doesn't. Her inability to both recognize and admit this makes her and those like her, nearly unbearable to discuss with.

As I said, go to my video. While I make light of Ann and people defending Ann in the video, I give a full critique of her statement and ALL possible defences of her statement, WITH links. No character limit, inarguable facts and logic.
Making a case around "they sent troops" when her comment, in FULL, and in CONTEXT, was not that AT ALL, is disingenuous and amounts to admitting you have no ability to think clearly or argue rationally. You can also see others arguing wrongly there.

@Theobrothers Part of the problem here is the YT character limit. Can't get truly comprehensive answers in one post. I may be in error about the timing of CBC's statement, although they are in just as much error as she is in this case. Personally, I think far too much has been made of Ann's simple error, she has said far worse. It really didn't detract from her point, and to place such focus on it was a pointless distraction that Bob McKeown seemed to relish fiercely.

May I just make this one comment. Being a young Canadian I find what ann has said about us in other videos and this video is very hurtful. " canadians better hope that the us doesn't roll over one night and crush them" well first off that is just stupid. America may have a larger economy than us, a larger army than us but we give them the resources to help them gain that. Canada is one of the world largest water sources and for her to say that we need them more than they need us well that's jus

As for acknowledgement, she apologized sure, but it was like when a child is forced to, it wasn't heartfelt at all. In fact she was massive stuttering and excusing away her error and then claimed others said she was right. After the "owned" piece aired she did all this, so how are they disingenuous for not adding something which didn't exist? Further, she stated it on a program that no one watches in comparison to NO APOLOGY stated on Fox and more reasoning as to why she was right.
-
Again, that wasn't her statement, that was an excerpt from her statement. Nor was that her meaning, so it's rather disingenuous for you to attempt to paint it as such. Anyway, my video already destroys her claims and any possible defenses of those claims.
As for goods, unless we have placed sanctions against a country, there is no legal way for Canada to stop the flow of goods. Canada didn't support the US but it also didn't demonize, thus it's neutral stance.

@Theobrothers You can't have it both ways. Ann's statement; "Canada sent troops to Vietnam", is technically correct. She didn't say; "Canada sent troops to FIGHT in Vietnam". Canada has control of it's exports no matter who owns companies on their soil. As for Mr. McKeown, there is abundant disingenuousness to go around. Ann later apologized for her (very minor) error which went intentionally unacknowledged, making CBC and Mr. McKeown the liars (and very poor sports at that).
-
That wasn't her statement. That's a disengenuous edition of her full statement made by people who would rather win an argument based on lying than understand and spread the truth.
Her statement had nothing to do with War materials. Besides, so the US supports like 90% of the wars on the planet with that logic. Agent Orange was sold by an American company located in Canada, hardly "Canadian".
Spying, cite proof.
Again, cite proof of the myriad ways, lol. But again, not her claim.
