Miracle Landing is a 1990 television film based on an in-flight accident aboard Aloha Airlines Flight 243 that occurred in April 1988. The Boeing 737-200 was flying from Hilo, Hawaii to Honolulu, Hawaii, when it experienced rapid decompression when a section of the fuselage was torn away.

I vaguely remember reading in the book "Air Disasters volume 2 about this incident, which had an indepth CVR, and from memory it has most of what they said in this movie (again from memory the actors had the CVR to go by in the script).
I actually felt after reading the CVR in that book, that the actors kept pretty true to it (not sure about the whole "didn't you always want to be a test pilot" bit though)

sadly the actors only had a poorly written screenplay to work with, I don't know how they managed to make such a crap movie from such a dramatic real life story.. Oh well, it pass some time :)
