  • Ya these arn't Velociraptor they are Deinonychus, V-raptors where much smaller.. JP just called them Velociraptors because Deinonychus sounded less frightening.

  • Only the MALES had feathers. Note how the Alpha Female, was bigger, and had no feathers.

This is due to the theory that Male raptors worked like say, a Male Peacock. Males look more ornate to attract females.

I just love how in the first movie, they all remind me of Dinobot from Beast Wars, and due to the female/male difference note above, that just make Dinobot's beast mode awkward

Also, who gives a shit what KIND of raptors they are? Let's just call them Raptors, and leave it at that, okay?

  • beautiful!

  • vilociraptors look cool with feathers but they should have kept the skin from number one well size i hope that v-raptors if they came back that they would be the size of the raptors in the movie

  • A Clockwork Orange.

  • the raptors in number 3 looked crap

  • @wrathofvengance67 Deino was 4 feet tall, a small utahraptor is 6 feet tall and the biggest is only 8.

  • @HardforJesus so the movie got it right?

  • @deitylink4567 tell me, is deinonychus accurate as portrayed in JP3?

  • @Ascaithe No, thats exactly how Deinonychus would of looked. It wasn't a puppy!

  • @woolenmage the smaller eyes make them look more menacing

  • @Gannon191 not, behavior is genetic and never changes unless mixing with other races.
