iPad Tethering using iPhone 3G / 3GS

Just wanted to share how you can tether the iPad using your iPhone. I am using AT&T's 3G Network and it works great!! This is a good way to save money and not pay the extra $130 for the 3G iPad. I mean why pay for 2 data plans?!?!? Hope you enjoy!!!!

Hi...followed the video, I tethered my Macbook, but my ipad gets an error message "Safari cannot open....not connected to internet" Do you have any suggestions?

@mikepinoy347 make sure your brightness slider is above minimum and your wifi is working properly on the ipad...then on your iphone make sure your wifi is on while you run mywi...it should work..

Nice video, but I use PDANet because it has a new option to hide tethering usage from your carrier. I got a notice from AT&T months back, BEFORE I installed PDANet, and when I found out about the new upgrade, I was like "Oh, ok! Cool!" LOLZ :3

Do u need to pay for the 3G data plan on ur iPhone for this to work or do u just need the sim card?
