Not even, The f-18 super hornet has AESA radar witch is a lot better then the f-14 radar. The f-18 also has longer range attack, It has the new aim-120d missiles.

this jet has less flight range than the good old f-14, shorter radar and attack range than the f-14 and slower be 500 mph, but it is more manuverable and easier to fly and a hell of a lot cheaper to operate, but, if you ask me, i liked the f-14.

Yes but in SuperHorror these pylons increased drag and decreased performance at high speeds. The E/F has particularly terrible performance in supersonic flight when drag is the highest.

But too much aerodynamic can kill the maneuverability of the air craft, that mean trouble in dogfights and dodging missile and gunfire...
