To make a long distance relationship work you need 3 things: Faith (and faithfulness), will to make it work with the person, and future plans to be physically together cause honestly if you can't picture yourself being with them past texts, calls, etc. you are surely wasting your time.

i had a long distance relationship. no i wasnt desperate, no i wasnt horny. one day we was talkin and about 2 weeks later he was like "damn i would like to walk on the beach with you" i was like THE FUCK? but he was serious, he said we could make it work, and i swear i never laughed so hard in my life when we talkd, he jus loved my company he told me all of his secrets. that lasted for about a year and a half. but till this day he still says he'll never forget how special i made him feel.

I'm in Australia, he's in the US. It's been almost a year and I just have to say, it's not hard. This sounds corny but if you feel like you met the right person then trust issues is not a problem. You just know that you can trust them and vice versa. If he's horny, go help him out. Things won't get "old" if you love each other. The key is to be committed, loyal, patience and trust. No matter what you have to communicate very often.
