A Gmail tribute to Matt. The 10 second limit was added after I shot this, which was very early in the contest. Don't fret, I'll fix it later. Meanwhile, enjoy and I hope it inspires others to shoot the gmail Mvelope in other "familiar" scenes.

  • Can you give me directions of this place?

  • It is on the south side of the GG bridge, near Fort Point. Look at Google Maps. It is not by the big tourist stop just before you cross the GG bridge. To get to it you need to be on Lincoln Blvd, and there is a parking lot on the north side of Lincoln Blvd halfway between Long Ave and Vista Acc. If you park there, then walk along a path toward the bridge about 200 yards, even going thru a tunnel thru a small hill, and then you'll see the clearing with the picnic tables and the tall trees.

  • As an idea, if anyone lives in Germany and can recreate a scene from the movie Run Lola Run (Lola rennt) with the Gmail mvelope, that could be really cool!

  • Who else can create a Gmail version of one of Matt's scenes in the next 2 weeks?

  • jeez, ok already, i get it. i shot this early before they added the 10 second limitation, i'll edit and speed it up later. don't fret, the 8 extra seconds of time you spent watching the scenic outdoor background of the golden gate bridge will brighten your day.

  • good video, lol, very "where the hell is matt"...

  • just explain what is the creativity?

  • I really like the shot, don't get me wrong. That looks like a beautiful day in SF. Maybe you can speed up just the beginning and the end. Good luck!

  • It's already been done, try a new concept.

  • Just think about it twice before posting dumb comments. Cuz' this video actually IS funny.

search "where hell Matt" on YouTube, and if you're not an idiot by then you should get it... Hopefully...

  • Or just speed it up. It would look crazy in fast motion. And the background adds to the idea and shouldn't be cropped very much, if at all.
