Thank-you! Beautiful! My maternal grandfather's mother, Alice Little, was born in Langholm 1850. Her parents lived on Buccleuch Terrace and are buried in Langholm Kirkyard. Found their grave in 1981 and sprinkled pansy seeds on it. So if there are wild pansies in Langholm Kirkyard now, it's my fault. :-)

How can you even suggest leaving Langholm for a better life, there's no such thing as this video proves?????!!!!

Thanks for this video. Our family left Langholm in 1831 for a better life in Canada. Our family will be flying back to Langholm in July 2009.

Very good - will you be there for the last Friday in July? It's a local festival called the Common Riding which the rough guide travel book includes in the top 10 festivals of the world along with Octoberfest, Mardi Gras, Pamplona bull run etc.
