Calvinism is a doctrine of devils plain and simple. Go ahead and leave your nasty (and nice) comments below, I still love you. I'm not going to debate you on this issue, I just hope that if this is what you are practicing, that you will repent and follow the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ, not a man's doctrine.
God does not send anyone to hell, each persons actions determines their end - Hell or Heaven. With each new generation less & less believe in God & rather choose a path of "free will" to do what they want. God did not send his only Son to die for all mankind, Jesus died for the elect - those who truly come to God, who believes and accept God and God's rules & not that of man. To me, Calvinism explain the ever increasing ruthlessness of mankind.

one big happy family ? dude the division Jesus teaches in the verse you read is about God's call through election on a person which then separates that person from others.if you deny election and predestination you deny Christ because he and the apostles taught this doctrine! so whosoever argues against the teaching can't possibly be truly saved and regenerate by the Holy Spirit, but they have believed in vain and their faith is fake. these are they to whom Jesus will say "I never knew you"..

Jesus didn't preach man's ability. Show me from the BIBLE, that election is not true. You talked for 8 minutes about something that Calvinists agree with, and at the beginning and the end simply stated that you don't like Reformed theology. Ya see, when we get into the text of scripture, we see who preaches God's sovereignty and who spends time stripping God from His throne. T.U.L.I.P. is consistent, and lines up with ALL of the Bible.

Grace can be resisted, but not finally. God allows our resistance to Him, but if His purpose is to save us, our efforts against Him carry out His Will. So we do His Will despite ourselves.
Salvation is unconditional as faith is not given because of anything in us - it and all the means to it like saving faith, & Christ above all, are given by God out of sheer grace. We cannot earn what He gives; it comes from Him as a free gift, or not at all. How can we *earn* Christ ?

Calvinism is a heresy.........enslaving many otherwise fine Christians and tho I never considered this I do believe it could be Satan's favorite religion. Interesting.
Is salvation unconditional? No it's by faith. Is atonement limited? No Christ died for the sin of the whole world. John 1:29 and 1 John 2:2. Is grace irresistible? No. Matt 23:37. Etc,etc, etc.
Calvinism=Never let the Bible get in the way of your theology!!!

@phillip78 Indeed, God is the God of the living whether they be in Heaven or Hell, He is God over all. It's about time you said something that is reasonably true.

@phillip78 Yea, it is "over". You know why? Because you're involved. See it's really hard to take logical, rational principles and make them fit into a tiny skull like yours. That would be like trying to fit 10 gallons of water into a thimble.

@phillip78 As I said, the easiest way to shove your face into your own STUPIDITY is to go to the end of the book and see that when the wicked are cast into the LOF, there is never a mention of them EVER coming back out. Can you expalin that?
