The guy was right when he said it. it is an LT1. not a 1LT. know your cars. camaro gets LT1, LT4, and LS1 engines. The number is always last. LT1 engines are great but I'd rather see the new 2012 come with an optional corvette powered LS9.

Either way its a new camaro, and you cant tell by looking at them what the engines are, unless you see the SS badging..however, the new camaros, be it v6 or v8 are fucking amazing
