He gave the books out free, DOH and Ross Perot who actually read his books asked to use some of his ideas for his pres campaign and so he did. Man these folks are quite annoying posting this type of crap. Find something else better to do. lol

It costs money to run for president. Only the democratic and republican candidates have a realistic chance of winning the presidential election, and they are in the Establishment machine and have money. Perhaps Mark was finding a way to provide a mutual value exchange as a businessman, selling his books to raise the money needed to run a campaign. I find that refreshing and benevolent. He seems to me to be a genuine person who put an effort toward breaking thru the Establishment.
