[Miley opens the door]
Demi: Hey! (Hugs Miley super tight) I've missed you so much and we have so much to catch up on! (Walks in the house forgetting about Joe)
Miles: (Looks at Joe confusingly) *Yells at Demi* Demi, you forgot to pay the cab driver!
Joe: *feeling insulted* I am not the cab driver. (Walks in the house and sets the bags on the ground) I'm the boy...
Demi: (Comes in to cut him off on time) ...he's the best friend. (Changing the subject immediately so Miley won't ask any questions) So...tour, please?! You're crib is amazing! (Smiles with excitement)
Joe: (Looks at Demi confused. She changed her personality around Miley real quick)
Miley: Well... I actually am about to leave to go handle some business but feel free to tour every room in the house. (Points upstairs)
Demi: *Whiney voice* But I just got here?!
Miley: I'm sorry, Demz but I gotta go to work. (Points down the hall) Mom should be in the theater room. But I have to go. (Goes to put on her coat) Sorry. (Looks at Joe) It was nice meeting you John. (Waves bye and walks out the house)
Joe: (Not impressed with Miley's welcoming gestures) It's Joe!
Demi: (Pulls his hand to the theater room) Come on. I want you to meet her.
Joe: (Aggervated already) I guess!
With Miley...
Miley: (Visiting with Nick again) Hey! (Stands up to give him a hug)
Nick: (Pulls back from giving her a hug and pecks her lips then sits down like everything is natural)
Miley: (Sighs and sits down across from him) Nick. I thought you understood. You can't keep doing that. I'm in a committed relationship with someone else...
Nick: (Smirks and cuts her off)...Yet you're here with me trying to get ME out of this hell hole.
Miley: (Swallows hard, sighs and looks down) Look, I talked to my lawyer. I cant drop the charges because they were filed a while ago and the case has been dropped but she said she can get you out early on probation if you have good behavior. You been doing good in here?
Nick: (Smiles excitedly) Yea, that's great. I've been on my best. I have totally changed.
Miley: Alright as long as you promise not to hit me or come after me again?!
Nick: (Nods his head in agreement) Of course...
Miley: (Purses her lips together) You should be out Monday of next week. That's the soonest I could get you.
Nick: (Goes to give Miley a hug) hank you so much. I promise to do right by you THIS TIME.
Miley: (In shock at first at the way Nick just lunged and gave her a hug, like she just saved his life, then snaps out of it when Nick says this time. She pushes back from Nick) Just to make sure you wont hurt me again I want you to do me a favor.
Nick: (Makes an excited face) Yes. Anything!
Miley: (Sighs) I want you to stay away from me and Liam.
Nick (With that Nick's smile dropped fast)
Miley: (Tries to think of an excuse but instead just lies through her teeth) Me and Liam...*Gulps* We are happy now and I'm afraid if you come near us you or me would do something crazy. Even Liam might do something crazy. He has been acting strange lately.
Nick: (Looks down and whispers under his breath) I bet I could take. I mean does she not know who I Am?!
Miley: (Knows Nick too well to know he just said something mean or sarcastic) What is it? What'd you just say?
Nick: Nothing. (Makes an innocent face)
Miley: (smirks) Yea, right. I know you too well.
Nick: (Sighs) I think that's unfair. I mean I knew you first, before he did. I loved you first. Don't I get a say in anything.
Miley: (Gets sarcastic) Yea you do. You get a say in what hotel you want to sleep in.
Nick: (Looks at Miley without smiling) That's not what I meant. Milez, I meant I would like to see you. I want a say in if I can see you or not. And trust me, I would definitely like to see you.
Miley: (Takes a deep breath and looks away. Then she looks back at Nick) I'll think about it. Now I need to go. I have company staying with me for a while.
Nick: Sure. (Stands up as Miley does) Will you be here on the day of my release?
Miley: (Rolls her eyes playfully) I wouldn't miss it for the world. (Gives Nick a goodbye hug)
Nick: (Tightens the grip and kisses her on the cheek) *Whispers* I love you, Miley.
Miley: (As her and Nick let go of each other she smiles at Nick and then walks away to the exit door. She feels so awkward for helping Nick and not telling Liam. She justs hopes she doesn't fall back into Nick's cycle again)
