Love this aircheck! Immediately recognized the station voice as Mark Driscoll! I remember him doing voice-over's for Top 40 "B-97" here in New Orleans back in the early 1990's. I recently found out he spent time here back in the 1970's on WNOE when they were a rock station. Awesome stuff!
Also, I like that touch-tone sounder at 7:26. It was used on B-97 at the same time they were using it here! I'm guessing it's a generic production, so who's the production company that made it??

@billy5853 y100 went on the air in March of 1993. It went on as Z100, but Z100 in New York fearing confusion made them change name, and thus Y100 was born.

Anyone have any audio from the MAX contest Q-102 ran where words were beeped out and a voice synthesizer was used & ppl had to guess the song? LOVED that contest and I was on it several times..never won, of course! I have some cassette tapes somewhere but who knows where they are?!

@Ganderson360 "Tell Me Why" by Exposé is at 5:50. At 7:20 is the end of "True Love" by Seduction followed by a music bed for the air talent.
