  • what brand popper is that?

  • As I say in my comments about the video, this is a Proctor Silex popcorn popper.

  • The "stink" is a lot like burnt toast, and it is completely gone in (worst case scenario) less than a day. But I have since moved my roasting to my front porch for that reason.

  • It only takes about 8-10 minutes per batch. Two batches will fill my coffee grinder and keep us in coffee for a weekend.

  • "not now kid, I'm cooling the beans!"

  • I enjoyed your video. I also use a popcorn popper with great success. Mine is a $16 Chefmate from Target. I absolutely love how great it works. I can only roast 1/2 cup of green beans at a time, but in 5.5 min. I have a beautiful dark brown roast...wouldn't dream of buying an expensive "coffee roaster" with a popcorn roaster that works so well.
