It's based on the children's books of Sandra Boynton. She put together an album and book compilation, with songs taken directly from or inspired by many of her extrememly popular stories, with each song being inspired by a distinct style of music, like calypso ("Pig Island"), Broadway ("Cows", "I Like to Fuss"), and many others. There are quite a few celebrities featured singing, as mentioned above: Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Laura Linney and Scott Bakula, to name a few. Not just for kids!

oh it is no problem... it is just a silly album that was put togeather to make people laugh. it has al sorts of people on it... for example the bacon brothers and meryl streep.
