  • Good, simple demo. EZ to understand and see demo'd. You're a sweetie-pie, as well. Thank you.

  • @1created1

    Thanks so much! :)

  • hello, I am doing a project that I would like to do image transfer on. Do think this technique will work on wood painted with acrylic? So essentially, would the image stick to acrylic? The acrylic has taken very well to the (gesso-ed) wood, but there is still that wood texture. Thank you =D

  • @nexxusrequiem You can do this on painted wood - you may still end up with a little bit of grain :) Have fun!

  • thanks so much for the demo! i recently purchased a canvas & some gel medium to make a friends birthday present. only problem was, as soon as i got home i forgot the instructions! your video demo really helped!!

  • @hannahloosschilder

  • I enjoyed the tutorial so much. Isn't You Tube awesome? We can share our techniques and finished projects with each other from all over the world. We don't have to wait for craft shows on satellite or the rare art show on PBS. At last, visual artists have their own spot. It's better than a tree house.

  • Hello there :) I have an inkjet printer, so I made sure that I bought transparancy sheets made for that - I have used 2 or 3 different brands & they all worked pretty well. You can find them at most office supply stores. I haven't tried doing this using images printed on a laser printer, so I'm not sure how that works. I hope that helps :)

  • Mine didn't work :( i used gel impasto medium ( which works with wood print transfer ) I used a acetate photograph, does the acetate print need to be wet ? The gel medium didnt grab the ink the acetate grabbed the paper lol

  • so is it easier to use a transparancy instead regular paper?

  • Is it only work with the plastic image ?

Magasin pisses paper is it working?

  • very cool. thanks :)
