  • Friend of mine is running the Abec 11 Retro Freerides (Reflex Formula) at 83a Lemon. I've pushed it at 90 and he does too and no flat spots. Wheel doesn't leave any thane, which leads me to the reason why it's soo resistant to flatspotting. If you're looking for a wheel to shred hard and last long, this seems to be the one.

  • @Nonownageable5

Yup, the reflex thane freerides are extremely durable.

  • What board is Joe riding...I want it haha

  • Joe is riding a Mutt

  • great video keep em coming! the boards ive ridden that you made have been great decks

  • i flat spotted my otang stims yellow in 3 weeks from standie 180's

  • @DrRoryMagowan Possibly. This is one of those "it depends on the rider" things. When Rich pops out at 90 he normally has much longer slides. I am the opposite however. When i keep my slides a little less than 90 i tend to go further.

  • @ThEsUbZ9000 That depends on the riders style and weight. Rich can normally starts making lines after a couple sessions sometimes sooner depending on how much skating he is doing. For me, I don't really make lines. I have had the same set of mega t's since summer that i normally ride on twice a week. I have worn them about halfway, maybe a tad more and I still only make very faint lines, if any at all.

  • @hill0986 It is all about unweighting the board. It's kind of like jumping without actually letting your feet leave the ground. when you go into a slide, start with a more crouched position, and then pop up as you kick the board out. With the coleman it's a similar idea. Put more weight onto your hand as you kick the back of the board out. This will cause the wheels to grip less.

  • how long does it take to leave thane on the mega tsunamis

  • I got a question for you guys, when i am doing a slide i feel like i am super heavy on the board and i lose to much speed. However, when i watch you guys you seem light and like you aren't really putting to much weight right down on the board. How do i get this light slide so that i don't lose to much speed when i am coleman sliding or any other slide??

  • So avoid 90% sliding and ur good??

  • damn 0:44

  • Will this affect the length of your slide
