Resveratrol, found in the skin and seeds of red grapes as well as in wine, berries and some plants, is a substance produced by plants in response to injury or fungal infection. It's believed to protect their delicate tissues from peroxidative stress and other damage that might result from illness, UV sun radiation or exposure to toxic substances.

As an antioxidant, resveratrol is believed to provide similar protective benefits for humans. Resveratrol also appears to promote healthy blood composition and circulation, and may also have anti-inflammatory properties. Buy superior quality NSI Resveratrol products now at http://www.vitacost.com!

  • @deepfreeze202 what are you talking about? Like what?? There are so so sooo many things that are healthy and increase life, you just have to do your research, and none of them are illegal.

  • I don't know if I'd trust this, in the US anything that is healthy or increases life expectancy is either illegal or unavailable.

  • ha ha so your just selling like everyone else.

  • olive oil has omega 3 but flaxseed meal/oil has more. both are anti inflammatories. excellent for skin problems, itchiness. dryness. good for heart, etc. LOOK IT UP ON VARIOUS SOURCES.

  • @jtlbb2 Its more complex. Not only it can be absorbed only if having fats and emulgeator in the mix (like soya lecitine) but also if it passes the liver it wil be very rapidly deactivated by some liver enzymes. Therefore "premedication" by quercetine is necessary, that occupies the same enzymes and resv. can sustain longer time for effect in the blood. I take quercetine 1 hour before resveratrol which is mixed into Nutella, that contains oil and lecithine. Other way: scrambled eggs :)

  • The solution is very simple actually: eat it with a meal. Now how hard is that? This is precisely one of the reasons supplements are recommended to be taken with a meal.

  • Here's the contents of the Longevatrol that he talked about first. Notice that it does contain olive oil, a fat. So, not to worry. I'm gonna buy it.

    Longevatrol™ Stabilized Polyphenol Complex200 mg*

Polygonum Cuspidatum (standardized to 50% resveratrol) (leaf)100 mg*

Red Wine Extract (standardized to 40% polyphenols)100 mg*

    *Daily value not established.

Other Ingredients: Olive oil (extra virgin), gelatin, glycerin, purified water, beeswax, lecithin, mixed tocopherols and chlorophyll

  • yeah, like most Americans don't have enough Fat intake in their diets..... this should work like a charm then for most of us.

I would suggest coconut oil for that matter. it will all mixes in your stomach, no need to put a capsule on a peanut butter cracker.

  • All resveratrol products are crap. They all forget to tell you that bioavailability of resv. is very low when taken orally. The only way resveratrol can get high enough concentration to play its effects is when you take it as a powder together with some fats. Yes, fats. It can be peanut butter or chocolate, but if you take it without its money down the drain. It has to be mixed with the fat, now try that with a capsule... see what I mean?

  • will try it because i have faith in this vitacost gentleman
