only when you are looking at them. when you are in standby, or another app/ screen other than your "desktop" are in veiw, the wallpapers are not running. so yes and no.

i have the samsung moment. i have live wallpapers, 3d photo gallery, and android 2.1 calkulin's 2.1 rom. after reading billions of forums and researching every known glitch there is on these things, plus having first hand experience, i can answer any and all questions on just about anything you could ever possibly want to know.

I'm on my 3RD SAMSUNG MOMENT REPLACEMENT and it started FREEZING again and then it ran super slow, so I took it in again, for the 6th time to the Sprint store. They loaded Android 2.1 on the phone but IT DOES NOT COME WITH 3D GALLERY. I'm really bummed about that. The voice recognition works really well, but I think it uploads the voice sound up to googles servers and then replies back on your phone. Just speculation on my part.
