Toyota pressed the button to turn on their Camry Hybrid manufacturing at the Altona plant in Melbourne. These are the robots that are building the new Camry in action. I call the big one Bob.

  • they work these robots to the bone with no complaints.

  • Robots are only used for jobs that are a) too dangerous, b) too repetitive or c) outside human limitations. They are taken off line for regular maintenance and testing.

  • @bartjuhh93 what? welding robots do the job way better?are you fucking serious?i used to work in that plant mate, in a welding area, the one that they show in the video only a spot welding robots, not a mig welding robot, after the mig welding robots weld a part, it will be repaired by humans, to check the undercut weld and some area were not properly weld by a robot, hand made is more better.

  • I used to work in that plant before, I tried my best to be a good worker,and doing my job well and after a year, they get rid of me, and keeping those who are shit workers, and they always said that saving Australia Jobs?That's lie, and I won't buy a Toyota car anymore, thanks for using me Toyota...
