The Albany Honor Flight

I posted this in commemoration of Veterans Day 2008--here's the Honor Flight from Albany, NY, featuring my good friend Richard Marowitz, the star of HITLER'S HAT, along with his buddies Doug Vink and Al Cohen. All three were also written up in a book called INTO THE DRAGON'S TEETH.

I'm proud to say Doug was my Grandfather and the cornerstone of our family. This is fantastic to see - Al and Rich (and I know Eddie too) All great, wise, honorable gentlemen.

I'm curious to see if you have any other footage of the fellas, or know anyone who does?

Doug Vink is my Father's Army Buddy (eddie lamparski) is mentioned several times in the book "The Dragon's Teeth" they served in the 68th tank battalion 6th Armored Division
