but why didn't canadian start using native american language and fit in? are english and french people therefore lesser man in your views? i don't get whether you are praising chinese or bashing western colonialist who still think they have more right to the land then others...
it a rare thing then just as it is now. and honestly it shouldn't matter.

You know this isn't the first documentary based on Force 136. There was one made in '99 called Unwanted Soldier. Great documentary.

I think most of you miss the point of their contribution and this clip !
They were born in Canada, probably 2nd or 3rd generation Chinese Canadians that were denied the right to vote and yet donned on the uniform and went to war for Canada, this is a powerful symbol of perseverance. By law you cannot be a soldier if you are not a "citizen" !

WW2 was a different war, nowadays you cant say if the war in the middle east is right or wrong cuz it would be irrogent either way; personally, i believe that fighting WW2 was done for what was right.
