A short clip of what was a nightmare experience. Dylan's day at the hospital lab for blood work. 5 adults were required to restrain him, and even then they were only able to draw half the blood required. We haven't been back and don't intend to, unless we have no choice.
Dylan has always hated being restrained and tended to meltdown in Doctor's office visits or similar situations. Knowing this, our Pediatrician prescribed almost as adult doze of Xanax for Dylan (who's big, for his age). It seemed to have the opposite effect on him. No tranquilizing effect, that's for certain.
Dylan has Autism. He's 3 years, 4 months at the time of this video.
