These are great for cupcake toppers :)

Unfortunately my digic cam is broken so I had to take pictures using cellphone. thus the results are somewhat blurry and dark :(

Since I knew what the results were gonna be, I didnt really have the will to take lots pictures for a real step by step, forgive me!

You might find typos, am lazy to fix it.

  • this is really cool! the only problem i had with it was that the title is misleading! i was looking for flip-flops you wear on your feet!

  • I take it you dont know what fondant is, that is why you felt mislead :)

  • Nice video...Enjoyed it!

  • That is so cleaver! =]

  • well i do know what is was, like a marshmello kind of gum past, but i was just curious to see EXACTALY what it was! but it really is a good idea! ;)

  • wow! awesome makes! im making these as cupcake toppers for a mothers day bake sale! great idea to use the butterfly cookie cutters, but alas, i dont have any butterfly cookoie cutters, so i had to take a more tedious line of action, using old barbie doll shoes to make a kind of template..... took a long time T_T

  • Thanks for sharing! What a great idea to use the butterfly cookie cutter!

  • Thanks so much for posting this!!I was using a template I was not too happy with and they were too big. I saw this link on Cake Central and just so happen to have the butterfly!!! Yeah...I am going to try royal icing for straps/flowers instead and see if that will work better for me. I cannot get my straps too neat with fondant...=(

  • Just found this. They are cutie! I don't have a mini butterfly cutter so I made a template out of mylar and proceeded from there. Thanks for the inspiration.
