How does a human cover a Strokes song and get away with it? The Strokes selling point is the entire trademark guitar play, with its sharp and timed precision and transitions, while Julian sings with his voice that sounds quite opposite of everything else. It's fucking genius. Adele is great, but nothing does the signature Strokes sound justice

Adele is one of the best acts out there today. That being said, she sucked a lot of the fun out of this song in my opinion. The urge to dance just isn't there when she sings it.
