Video gives a nice overview of what can be accomplished with this plugin. I am new to this and just installed it today. I really want to take advantage of RCU but still dont understand all of it. What I want to do is create a VM Server template and use RCU to clone the hell out of it for the various servers we need to throw up. Is this possible and recommended? Will I save space using RCU?

I had a little trouble with the cloning feature of the RCU at the time I tested v3. So in theory, yes to your question, it will save space. But... I'm not sure the rapid cloning feature actually works reliably yet. You'll want to test it yourself to see how it goes. On the other hand, the datastore provisioning works like a champ.
