Yes, I guess the question is, when all is said and done, what was the difference. The Germans murdered and brutalized millions in camps etc. The British and Americans for their part, incinerated hundreds of thousands of Germans in their cities. The Soviets murdered and raped on a monsterous scale. So-called area bombing, as the British air campaign was called, actually targeted the german civilian population.

I don't think anyone walks away from this with clean hands.

Every faction is guilty of something, some more than others, but to pin the blame entirely on the German people, to this day, is just wrong.

Do I smell another appeaser? The Germans started not one, but two wars. They started it, and they got what they deserved. Germany should still hang its head in shame for its atrocities on an unimaginable scale. I lost family in WW2 so don't give me this "we are all to blame garbage".

@paperwater bomber Harris targeted civilians to bring the German war machine to an halt weather they was civilians or not they still had jobs making more planes and bombs and such. desperate times call for desperate measures. and the Luftwaffe dident care what they was targeting they was bombing places like dance halls and milk bars and they even targeted one dance hall with a v2 rocket those was always full of civilians so it was tit for tat. the nazis had there head so far up there asses
