@TheProphetOfWrath I'm pretty sure it's the Sabian HH 22" Power Bell Ride.

Could someone please answer this? What ride cymbal does shannon use? I really like the bell.

Ive been playing triggered kicks for 10 years now and it only replicates what you are phisically playing its not giving you extra kick hits for free.I wish someone would give their reason for why they think its cheating. And for this style of music you need it as the kicks define the rhythm and they would just be a constant rumble without the definition.Live would be rediculous

All triggers do is take a drum sound at a specific volume and consistently play that exact same sound at the exact same volume through every hit. That's all. They DO NOT make playing faster any easier.

TRIGGERS MAKE PLAYING HARDER! you guys are retarded. think about it. triggers make kick hits louder that if it was just micd. so what does that mean? the crowd hears EVERY single hit. if you mess up a little. people know because the triggers louder than just a mic.

I'm tired of people hating on triggers when they have no idea what they are talking about. Sure, some may use them to compensate for their weak ass hits, but it's not like a trigger can correct you from going off time or having a case of popcorn feet. The drummer still has to have the skill and speed to hold on to a fast foot roll like that for extended periods of time without fucking up. Triggers are no different than a guitarist using some sort of pedal to alter their sound.

@nini073210 I get what you mean, but I would think of them more as pickups for drums, because it take the striking force of the drummer and sends it to the audio system as electronic signals, but that's just me.

@LHondrums Exactly, glad someone understands that. I hate Slipknot, but I don't hate them as musicians. Of course there are MUCH better in metal, he doesn't "suck" though.

@MrMinidildo Closed Casket Requiem, off of their first full length Unhallowed. It's also the second song that plays in this, like 20 seconds in :P
@punkrockdrummer1990 triggers are only there to make it sound better. it does not help a drummer at all. triggers for a bass drum is like an amp for a guitar, its only there so you can hear it, and possibly even make it sound better, not to "cheat" and make it easier
