One Smart Thirsty Bird

The bird clearly knows that, turning the tap = water. Why else would he perch there and gesture towards the tap.
When the human turns the tap, the Cockatoo knows where the water will come out.
That is why it is a smart bird. It has observed, and seen how water can be procured from this device, yet, as a wild animal, it can still coax humans into turning the tap!

Oh my goodness. They need a botanic garden for budgies here. I would take her every day.
I spoil her so much.

Anybody else watched this video and suddenly wanted to drink water out of that?

@XcOm012345 I'm sure the young man heeds a lot of respect towards the Too's beak, as we all should, encountering a parrot, pet or no. Just get bitten ONCE and you don't forget it :-)

@SweetGirlMarya the birds are not held in the park, they come here to hang out and find food, company and, well... water!

@UnluckyGambler Yes crows are supposed to be the smartest birds, but i feel the cockatoos have a more "human" way of showing their smarts..
