Sonic CD (2011) - Timer Reset Glitch -

This video show , how to get very low times on Sonic CD (XBLA/PSN/Steam)
After Sonic Generations being glitched , its the turn of Sonic CD.
The video is self-explicing , go to the last checkpoint , and just let the timer go to 9'59"99 .
I used an OFFLINE account to do it , so my time isnt on the leaderboards , i am actually , still the legit #1 on the Xbox Live leaderboard on Palmtree Panic 1 .
This doesnt work on the boss levels , only regulars .
I am making this video for , Sega will may patch it ...

Damn, I should have used an offline account to do this. I'm #2 in PP1, but I used this. Feels terrible man.

To make up for it, though, I'm still legitimately #70 on PP3, and #58 on PP2.

I think I know why it does this. In this version, the leaderboards count the story mode levels, not just the time attacks ones. In TA, you only have one life, making this useless. I'm not surprised they missed this. How often are you actually expected to run out of time if your speedrunning?

@supersaiyanmikito Yeah true , Time attack mode is totally useless on this version XD.

Just wanted to know if the top times was actually glitching or hacking , and i found this .

@MilesTailsProwerFox At least this isn't as bad as Colors and it's zero second runs, but this does need to be fixed.

@supersaiyanmikito Its only possible to see the top 3 on Sonic Colors ( Ds Version ) Every top 3 are hacked , we cannot see the legit players on this game lol .

About Wii version , its the same but with a top 20 this time xD

Yeah, these ports are bad. In the Sonic 4 port on PC, if you play with a keyboard, you can slide around the level by holding left and right at the same time. It's pretty funny, but I doubt it would be useful in any sort of speedrun.
