where do you find these lame-ass people: they make their tiny minds up that they won't like something, and sure enough the face=pulling starts - like 4-year olds.

Oysters -fresh- of course, and naturals if possible - are ineffably delicious.

@Richardafranklin I didn't pull a face until I actually tasted it. It reminded me more of something I'd put on a hook rather than eat. The texture was awful too. Though taking in consideration that the oyster I tried wasn't fresh, I'd definitely try a fresh oyster the next time I go to the shore.

lol... the slow-mo shot was kinda unnecessary, but funny. we love raw oysters down here in New Orleans. maybe you would wanna dip it in some cocktail sauce (and maybe lemon w/salt & pepper) until u get used to it. what city do u live in anyway?

@CathyAnxiety yeah I was gonna say that oyster didnt really look that great. It looked all hard and dry. A small fresh oyster just suck it out of the shell and swallow is the way to go, smaller and the texture isnt as bad slithering down. cutting it open seemed to be more gross to me hahaha. They should have a mild seawater /fishy sort of taste but not an unpleasant one like old fish is... more of a fresh ocean-ey flavor thats pleasant and yummy

the only way to eat an oyster is raw with lemon juice and tabasco sauce. pour it straight in your mouth and waste as little natural juices as possable, give it 8 chews and swallow it thumbs up if you agree

I live in Louisiana and i had the same reaction when i tried a fresh Oyster (i was 7 and again recently). They are disgusting raw, I do however like them fried and broiled.
