  • Retards. You dont reduce cholesterol to get healthy, you fucking eat better and live a more active lifestyle to reduce the inflammation in your veins which in turn is causing the high cholesterol. CHOLESTEROL ACTUALLY REPAIRS THE INFLAMMATION IN YOUR VEINS. YES, PLAQUE IN YOUR VEINS IS CAUSED BY TOO MUCH CHOLESTEROL BUILDING UP IN YOUR VEINS, BUT THIS IS CAUSED BY HIGH INFLAMMATION. FIX THE INFLAMMATION, NOT THE CHOLESTEROL. ONLY HIGH RISK PATIENTS OF STROKE SHOULD MAYBE USE THIS MEDICINE

  • Red Rice Yeast is a natural healthier alternative. Also workout and diet.. Only eat junk once a week.

  • I work in a pharmacy and I will tell you that people are becoming complacent about their health. They think that swallowing pills is the substitute for exercise and diet. The more people rely on drugs to "cure" all of their ailments the more md's and pharmaceutical companies will push them. Most people don't want something natural or over the counter recommendations. They want "the strong stuff" in the pharmacy. Watch the commercials, a lot of these drugs are causing other problems. Research!!!

  • My neurologist has just prescribed this for me

  • This dangerous drug is prescribed so often to so many for one reason and one reason only; it's making drug companies and doctors rich. There are numerous vitimin supplements that do just as well for a faction of the cost. One example is niacin. Do your own research folks and don't buy the bs from the docs.

  • More conflicting information. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • @thienan what is a safe level? who decides that? Cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease it is merely a symptom. Tim Russert died of a heart attack even though his cholesterol levels were within normal range. Cholesterol drugs have damaged way more lives than they have actually helped.

  • The physician population is beginning to take notice of natural medicines. Take a look at our Real Natural Remedies channel to see what Dr. Chaudhry has to say about the side effects of cholesterol drugs and natural ingredient medicines to help lower cholesterol.

  • I am quite sure Lipitor was first FDA approved in 1996 - not 1999 as stated in the beginning of this video. Visit the FDA website and search for the Orange Book Detailed Record on Lipitor.
