Why didn't they mention the very next day he phoned in sick !!! Absolute Coke Head who let everybody down - his Brothers, His Wife, His Child, and most of all his mother - Had everything & blew it. Hi Simone, you're free to share your opinion of course but to call him a Cokehead who let everybody down based on just one source is not what you would call really objective.I mean,he admitted his failures publicly more than once and if he would've been as nasty as described he would not have even bothered to do, let alone check himself into a clinic. Personally, I find the stories by his own mother and brothers told in the official BeeGees biography,Keppel Road etc more convincing.Cheers,Nikka.

Sure they do. I can identify with what Andy is going through in a way.  I recently had my heart broken by someone and I can see why he had the nervous breakdown. The one thing that I didn't do is turn to drugs. But I stopped eating, wasn't getting a lot of sleep and have been depressed. Very painful stuff.

If Andy let everyone down, how come to this day he is still loved by so many fans around the world ??? He had a problem with drugs and only because he was at celebrity status that the person is calling him cokehead.. butt how many other people that arent celebrities are cokeheads??? Millions....LEAVE ANDY ALONE...

Hopefully by the time his life was in real trouble.Most of his fans should have been adult enough to be over their selves enough to say wait a minute this great guy is in real trouble he needs help love support.He is real just like me who knows maybe some of this negative crap went out to fan mags while he was alive.Thank God there was no such thing as internet then.I cried for 3 weeks when he died.again when behind the music came out my mom cried with me shes gone now not an addict prescribed./

@Brujitaole I believe not letting everybody down was a big part of his demise.He had to pretend to be younger than he was.To be this perfect teeny bopper star when he wasn't he was a very real person with real problems.He had a child he was expected to leave behind .It really seems like to me he was very lonely and sad self depreciating,a people pleaser maybe he lied to himself and others he really seems ashamed of his addiction and weaknesses and failings.He was the one he let down.
