The Mayor inspects Ilford fire station's green makeover

Boris Johnson today visited Ilford fire station - one of 42 public buildings across London that have been installed with energy efficient devices to cut carbon and save money. Ilford fire station is saving more than 40 per cent off carbon a year and collectively, the group of buildings is saving the £1million off London's fuel bills. www.london.gov.uk for more info.
