@NYSEGOP also consider this he wants to distribute wealth (wealth fro the rich that is) for the benefit of all and when last year over 15% of your countrymen were below the poverty line I ask you is taking away social programs such as medicare, pension funds and so on so that the richest in the US can earn more moral.

@NYSEGOP consider this, I am a Socialist and belong to a socialist party (the Australian Labor Party is one of the oldest Socialist parties in the world), if you earn more you pay more in taxes and the rich are happy to that, unlike the US we have UHC which means that no one dies here because they cannot afford medical treatment

The problem with health care is not whether one has insurance or not, its QUALITY. All being insured does for someone is guarantee payment for substandard care. I nearly died and am broke from being insured, what works is not covered no matter what ones coverage is. The deaths due to being uninsured are lower than the deaths or damage done at the hands of the industry. Until for profit is taken out of the equation health care will continue to decline in the US.
