Once an Aggie, always an Aggie is an expression that conveys Texas A&M's uniquely rich history and our department's lifetime involvement with its computer science and computer engineering graduates. Aggies always want other Aggies to succeed. Come join us. The Department of Computer Science has an installed base of more than $5 million in computing equipment. For general faculty member and student use, we have an instructional network of more than 800 workstations. Specialized teaching labs exist for computational media, software systems, networking, computer architecture, microcomputer design, real-time systems, robotics, and senior engineering design. Workstations, laser printers, and plotters are distributed throughout the department in fifteen power-conditioned laboratories. The starting salary for computer science graduates averages $60,000.
