Dali Lama does not want seperation, no violence.

Dali Lama speaks on Canadian broadcasting Corporation (a Crown [gov] one at that!), public funded.
As of the 20th CNN is still lying and saying that the Dali Lama wants seperation! maybe the folks at CNN need to talk with him. Shame on trying to decieve the public both CBC with inciting questions and CNN propaganda scripting.
China does have the chance to counter all the fear-mongering by rich westerners by having high level public talks with the Dali Lama and other actual native living Tibetans not disgruntled or agitating militant factions as the Dali Lama has now publicly denounced their methods.

All protesters angry Tibetans must respect his wishes if they use his name. He has no intention of causing boycott trouble for China politically, armed struggle and those demanding these things in San Francisco do not represent his views but their own wishes & interests.
I personally like the Lama's more recent post '51 beliefs but he needs to acknowledge there was an armed struggle that led to his moving to India where part of the religion came from earlier in history. Once he admits his political mistakes it will be easier for China to admit it's excess suspression of the early uprisings just as the Canadian government must with indigenous peoples here.

CBC news finally clearly stated that Tibetan's did ethnicly attack chinese residents killing several in the rioting. They even showed monks in robes bum-rushing chinese troops! not so peaceful. Some ignorant westerners will support any cause for a free sticker or coffee social event.

i'm glad you mentioned that Dig b/c i am boycotting walmart and now practicing being a mindful consumer. China also funds genicide in Darfur. GE, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-cola, kodak, Visa, McDonald's, Lenovo, Panasonic, Samsung, Adidas, Volkswagen are just a few big name companies that obviously don't have much of a conscience, although some of them actually have social responsibility policies.

I agree with you 110%. His sheep do what he tells them to do. He keeps no records and only tells other what to do so that they can never come back at him with documents. A very smart man!
