Jetbeam, Fenix, 4Sevens, Surefire, and probably Streamlight lights will all for the most part take serious beatings. I love high quality lights.
While cr123a lights are probably the sweetest (or running on 18650's) I still think aa lights are the best bet. Especially if you are thinking for real emergency use. I guess you could have a huge store of batteries, but aa's are way more ubiquitous. Meh, both are sweet.
I'm suprise that Chinese can build many great flashlights. I own Fenix TK 10, great flashlight from China. I wonder if that flashlight tough like the one that you testing. good job, keep it up
