Fantastic job.... I thought that was a great visual interpretation. Very moving... gracefully done as well. notetoself... thats the beauty of the best poets, they manage to leave just enough vagueness to ensure you allow yourself to follow a journey along with them. Whatever was heard, all that matters is you allow yourself to move through the words and find the peace at the end.

My professor just went over this today. If you read the poem with the thought that maybe what the child hears is actually his parents in the bedroom doing you know what, it changes the story completely. It read it completely different after that. That's why his/her mother would not say what the "secret" was.
