"Om Kranti Om" by Disinformation - headphones or external hi-fi loudspeakers ESSENTIAL (the bass in this soundtrack is almost completely inaudible without them). A version of OM Kranti OM based on Disinformation's "National Grid" is currently only available on You Tube as a private video.

The soundtrack here is from the "Sense Data and Perception" CD recorded by Disinformation in 2005. As for the Naxalite activists depicted in this video, desperate poverty and brutal exploitation provoke extreme reactions, and there is no question that Communism has contributed a great deal to ameliorating these problems in India - however Om Kranti Om is NOT intended as any kind of gesture of support for Maoist, Leninist, Stalinist or any other authoritarian leftist ideology...

Om Kranti Om was 1st shown in the Noise=Noise event at Goldsmiths College, London, 18 March 2009, and most recently shown in the "Terror" event at X-Ray, The Perseverance, Hackney, London, 29 March 2010. The Goldsmiths event featured John Bowers, Disinformation, Mick Grierson, Derek Holzer, Ryan Jordan, Martin L, Julien Ottavi, John Richards and (although not featured on the publicity material) films by Usurp. The X-Ray event featured Ben Aqua, Charlesworth, Lewandowski and Mann, Disinformation, Eton Disorder, Rachel Haines, Julian Hand, James Alec Hardy, Peter Hudson, Duncan MacAfee, Gerry Mitchell, PNAK, Michael Robinson and Jeffery South.
