An original.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroys, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroy, nor thieves break in and steal. For where our treasure is, there also will you heart be." Matthew 6:19-21

We are not of this world
not made to remain here
We are temporary

And this soul and this heart
From my flesh shall it depart
inner beauty, shining brightly

Above it all You have won my heart
Nothing on this earth can have more worth
than your love, than your love

On your word, I am sustained
now stained with your mercy
mercy's ocean, washing over

and this battle that I face
purify it by Your grace
for I seek to see You all of my days

Take me to Your right hand
